Advisory on Generation Date for Draft GSTR 2B for December 2024

The GSTIN has issued this advisory on January 14, 2025, regarding the generation of Draft GSTR-2B for December 2024.

Due to the extended deadlines for filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns for December 2024 (October-December 2024 quarter), announced in Notifications No. 01/2025 and 02/2025 (dated January 10, 2025), the Draft GSTR-2B for December 2024 will now be generated on January 16, 2025, as per Rule 60 of the CGST Rules, 2017.

If you make any changes in the Input Tax Credit (ITC) details in the IMS after January 16, 2025, you can recompute your Draft GSTR-2B accordingly.
